Primerless cross-linked Protective Tape

Canusa Wrapid Tape™ consists of a cross-linked polyolefin backing, coated with a protective, heat sensitive anti-corrosion adhesive which effectively bonds to steel substrates and common pipeline coatings including polyethylene and fusion bonded epoxy. Upon the application of heat, Wrapid Tape™ shrinks down to fully encapsulate the protected substrate. The product is packaged in convenient rolls with various widths to protect and repair pipelines, fittings, bends, elbows and other irregular configurations.

• No special high-volatile primers or operator equipment is required which reduces installation time and health risks
• Shrinkability ensures the tape fully & tightly encapsulates the protected substrate while allowing the adhesives to flow into all surface irregularities
• A broad range of operating temperature specific and soil stress resistant adhesives for project specific conditions
• Applied after the pipeline has been welded and cleaned
